Sam Schell
Boiler Training Program
A true expert, Sam has taught throughout the US, and internationally, for over 20 years covering boiler, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration applications. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others and, throughout course presentations, is very adept at working with participants having varying degrees of experience. Sam’s hands-on teaching approach promotes class participation.
Sam wrote and taught Dupont Virtual Workshops, in addition to developing a comprehensive boiler software training program. He is a contributing writer for Plant Services Magazine and has written scripts and directed production of boiler training videos. Sam holds various licenses and accreditations such as MD Hazardous Waste Incineration Certification, NIULPE Power Engineer Certification and EPA Universal Refrigerant certification. Sam has US Navy Nuclear Power training and a Mechanical Engineering education from Kennedy Western University.
Sam’s additional expertise includes technical writing that encompasses plant manuals, maintenance programs, and operating procedures for numerous power and industrial clients including ISO 9000 compliance standards. |

Ross Crumling
Boiler Training Program
Ross has more than 20 years experience in the boiler industry beginning as a boiler manufacturer design drafter, and later building prototype Low NOx emission fuel burners, as an R&D technician. This unique exposure to fuel burner engineering has afforded Ross valuable insight, which most technicians will never experience.
Ross is currently a Field Service Technician for WORDEN & SHEWELL – York, PA. W&S also serves as the AESYS/York-Shipley Global Sales and Service Representative in PA, MD, DE and VA - USA marketplace.
With over a decade of field experience, Ross has an extremely diverse background in boiler installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair. He has provided service extensively throughout the US and overseas – Beijing, China, Seoul, Korea and Santiago, Chile. Ross is an expert in his field and is highly respected throughout the industry. |

Bob Wallace
Boiler Training Program
Retiring after twenty years in the US Navy, Bob spent the next seven years teaching all aspects of nuclear power plant operations as a Certified Master Training Specialist.
For five years Bob was a Sales Engineer, representing major boiler and fuel burner manufacturers, and provided training to engineering firms on the proper application, selection and design of boiler plants and ancillary support equipment.
Bob also spent three years as the Customer Service Manager for a major fuel burner manufacturer, responsible for the application and design of the burner package and providing annual training seminars to select manufacturer representatives on fuel burner design and application.
Bob is regarded as a highly respected expert with considerable background in application, design and training. |

Bruce Ketrick
Boiler Training Program
Bruce is an expert in the field of water quality and treatment programs and systems. He has over 30 years of experience with product formulation and technical support and holds a Certified Water Technologist (CWT) certification.
Bruce is President of GUARDIAN CSC – York, PA, providing equipment sales, system design, program development, technical support and custom product formulation services throughout the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic region of the US.
Bruce’s contribution to the Boiler Program ensures course participants the understanding of the importance of proper and sustained water quality programs to ensure the useful life and operation of boilers and ancillary support systems. |

Scott Miller
Boiler Training Program
Scott has more than 20 years experience in the boiler industry beginning as a fuel burner technician, developing prototype Low NOx emission fuel burners. This R&D experience has exposed Scott to considerable insight to combustion engineering.
Scott is currently a Field Service Technician for WORDEN & SHEWELL – York, PA. W&S also serves as the AESYS/York-Shipley Global Sales and Service Representative in PA, MD, DE and VA - USA marketplace.
