J&CHVAC Series MU Direct Fired Make-Up Air Systems are designed and utilized to temper outside air for large volume, high occupancy spaces subject to elevated ventilation rates. The tempered outside air supplements unitary system heating requirements. Systems are additionally employed as warm air curtains for open transport dock areas and in commercial and process drying applications.
The natural gas or LPG fired assembly delivers fuel directly to burner ports. The assembly arrangement, comprising a burner casting, incorporating an air orifice baffle plate, provides for proper combustion air at all firing rates.
Custom application construction meets compliance standards of UL, FM Global, GAP and suitability for use in NEMA classified indoor or outdoor non-hazardous locations.
Series MU Packaged Direct-Fired System
The Series MU is a direct LPG or NG fired heating system, providing up to 30:1 fuel input TDR, designed for tempering 100% outside air due to building exhaust or up to 80% building recirculation. Engineered for continuous operation in either an inside or outdoor location, it maintains a positive pressure to overcome air migration into the facility. The MU direct fired system is primarily designed for large open environments to augment indoor air quality requirements.
